The National Postal & Distribution Group functions to assess possible options for developing postal and distribution services and supplies of optimum value to the higher education and research communities and conclude purchasing agreements accordingly. In doing this the Group should take into account:

best practice for mail, courier and isolated delivery services to be found in public and private sector organisations and within the Higher Education sector

the possible benefits of making any favourable agreement established, capable of use by others for distribution and delivery of goods inwards to institutions.
